Unfortunately, as of the 2023 season, Kemptville Wildcats has moved to Adult paid umpires from the greater Ottawa area for all Softball games.

Two reasons:

• Kemptville Wildcats don't have the volunteer time available to manage our own umpires.

• More instances of people watching the games (aka family, friends or "fans") being excessively critical or agressive towards the Umpires in the Kemptville Wildcats recreational league games.

Please remember that without Umpires, there are no games.
