Kemptville Wildcats offer Smallball and Softball divisions for children ages 3-18!
Each summer boys and girls from across Kemptville and the surrounding region participate in programs ranging from U5 Blastball to U19 Softball. The Kemptville Wildcats offer Smallball and Softball divisions for children ages 3-18.
Unfortunately, the global pandemic that started in 2019 has significantly impacted organized sports for kids and the Kemptville Wildcats are no exception. TWO people worked hard to get a limited 2022 season up and running.
Going into 2023 (and now a group of 3 volunteers) the Kemptville Wildcats expanded the programs offered. Now, more than ever, we really need your help! Please reach out to us at info@kemptvillewildcats.ca to help organize, coach or sponsor our programs so local kids can play ball!
Note: Due to the collapse of Little League in this area just before the start of the pandemic in 2019, Kemptville Wildcats only offer Softball programs/divisions.
Softball age groups are based on the player's actual age prior to January 1 of the current year (Actual age in years on December 31 of the previous year). Softball is NOT coed.
Note: All Softball players will be required to travel outside of Kemptville, as part of the Rural Ottawa Softball Association, to play about half of their games and it will be the Parent/Guardian's responsibility to arrange suitable travel for their player(s).
There are 3 types of Smallball available based on player age with some overlap between the programs.
U5 Blastball (3-4 year old)
U7 T-Ball (4-6 year old but must be 4 years old by May 1)
U10 Coach Pitch (7-9 year old)
Note: All Smallball is coed and played locally in the Kemptville area.
